From a mentor at the local community center

The kids that I mentor wanted to submit another great resource!

"The Scientific Method: Data and Science for Kids"

http://www.securedatarecovery.com/resources/the-scientific-method-data-and-science-for-kids

presented by the kids of WB Goodwin!

From Delaware and Ms. Ward's classroom

My class and I are currently working on a project to revamp the classroom website. As part of the project, the kids are required to share a new resource with the folks that we have borrowed information from for "using their stuff," as one student put it (haha). This is something that Lauren thought would be a good fit for your site:

"Web Support: Math and Science Resources"

We believe they are very helpful!      Thanks for your contribution.

Who can teach your children better than you?

George Washington warned about what our children should learn and from whom. George Washington's warning was pointed at the fact that only parents should be responsible for teaching morals and ethics.

John Stuart Mill (author of On Liberty) liberal utilitarian ideals have become the philosophical basis in our schools. This is in opposition to our founding father's foresight, teaching and wisdom.

Our schools no longer teach the wisdom of our great forefathers who were inspired by God when they wrote our Constitution, Declaration of Independence and Bill of Rights.

SOMEBODY'S RAISING THEIR KID RIGHT!

One Nation, "Under God."

One day a 6 year old girl was sitting in a classroom. The teacher was going to explain evolution to the children. The teacher asked a little boy: Tommy do you see the tree outside?
TOMMY: Yes.
TEACHER: Tommy, do you see the grass outside?
TOMMY: Yes.
TEACHER: Go outside and look up and see if you can see the sky.
TOMMY: Okay. (He returned a few minutes later) Yes, I saw the sky.
TEACHER: Did you see God up there?
TOMMY: No.
TEACHER: That's my point. We can't see God because he isn't there. Possibly he just doesn't exist.

A little girl spoke up and wanted to ask the boy some questions. The teacher agreed and the little girl asked the boy: Tommy, do you see the tree outside?
TOMMY: Yes.
LITTLE GIRL: Tommy do you see the grass outside?
TOMMY: Yessssss!
LITTLE GIRL: Did you see the sky?
TOMMY: Yessssss!
LITTLE GIRL: Tommy, do you see the teacher?
TOMMY: Yes
LITTLE GIRL: Do you see her brain?
TOMMY: No
LITTLE GIRL: Then according to what we were taught today in school, she possibly
may not even have one!

(You Go Girl!)
